The Account Administrator is responsible for appropriate licensing of all uploaded fonts. Brand Sprokit accepts no liability for unauthorized use of fonts.

Add Fonts

Access: Super Admins, Super Editors, Group Manager and Group Editor have access to the “My Library” link in the upper right navigation and can add, remove, and edit fonts, assets and master styles to the account. End Users will not have access to the “My Library” link in the upper right navigation and cannot add, remove, and edit fonts, assets and master styles to the account.

You can add as many fonts as you want to your account, but first they must be converted into files that will work on both Macs and PCs, and in multiple browsers.

  1. Ensure that your font is in either a .ttf or .otf file format
  2. Convert your .ttf or .otf font file for multiple browsers:
    1. In a web browser, go to http://www.fontsquirrel.com/tools/webfont-generator
    2. Click ‘Add Fonts’
    3. Select the font file that you would like to add and click ‘Open’
    4. After reading and accepting Font Squirrel’s agreement, click the checkbox
    5. Click ‘Download Your Kit’
  3. Log into your account
    1. To add a font, click on “My Library” in the navigation in the upper right. Click “Fonts” on the left side of the screen.
    2. Click “+ Upload New Font.”
  4. Upload your font*
    1. Enter the common name of your font, such as FuturaStd-Bold, FuturaStd-Italic, etc.
    2. Upload the ‘Normal’ font file
      1. Next to ‘Normal’, click ‘Choose File’
      2. Locate your original file from step 1
      3. Click ‘Choose’
    3. Skip ‘Bold’*
    4. Skip ‘Italic’*
    5. Skip ‘Bold & Italic’*
    6. Upload the ‘EOT’ font file
      1. Next to ‘EOT’, click ‘Choose File’
      2. Locate the .eot file that was downloaded in your kit from step 2
      3. Click ‘Choose’
    7. Upload the ‘SVG’ font file (if this file is available. It is not required.)
      1. Next to ‘SVG’, click ‘Choose File’
      2. Locate the .svg file that was downloaded in your kit from step 2
      3. Click ‘Choose’
    8. Upload the ‘TTF’ font file
      1. Next to ‘TTF’, click ‘Choose File’
      2. Locate the .ttf file that was downloaded in your kit from step 2**
      3. Click ‘Choose’
    9. Upload the ‘WOFF’ font file
      1. Next to ‘WOFF’, click ‘Choose File’
      2. Locate the .woff file that was downloaded in your kit from step 2
      3. Click ‘Choose’
  5. Upload another font file, such as the bold or italic versions of the first font
    1. Repeat steps 1-4

* NOTE: If you are uploading the standard font and would like to also upload the bold, italic, and bold & italic version of this font, they must be added as if they were new fonts.
** NOTE: Make sure that you are uploading the .ttf file that was generated in your kit and not the original font file that you uploaded in step 2.

Delete Fonts

Deleting a font will permanently remove the font from Brand Sprokit.

Click the “My Library” link at the upper right of any page. Click the “Fonts” link along the left side of the page. Click the trash can icon to right of the desired font. A popup will appear confirming “Are you sure you want to delete this font?” Click “Ok.”

Disable and Enable Fonts

Disabling a font will keep the font in the Brand Sprokit font list but will not allow the font to be utilized in the styles, templates or projects.

Click the “My Library” link at the upper right of any page. Click the “Fonts” link along the left side of the page.

To disable a font: Click the check mark icon and “(Enabled)” link to right of the desired font. The page will reload and the text that said Enabled now says “(Disabled)” with a strikeout icon.

To enable a font: Click the strikeout icon and “(Disabled)” link to right of the desired font. The page will reload and the text that said Disabled now says “(Enabled)” with a check mark icon.
